Working for one of the world’s largest publicly traded oil and gas companies, Steve advanced through increasingly responsible technical and management assignments to the position of Distinguished Research Scientist. Assignments included hydroprocessing, dewaxing, FCC, and refining and petrochemical catalyst development. He applied his research background in process development and design, technical support, business planning, equipment health monitoring, reliability, and catalyst scale-up and commercial manufacture. He has a proven track record in leading multi-functional teams in the discovery, development and deployment of novel process and catalyst technologies. His work has significantly contributed to the efficient production of clean fuels, advanced lube oils and novel petrochemical technologies.
